SAFEGUARDING TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE & FAMILY, SEX, & GENDER IDENTITY
vs. Secularist LGBTQ+ agendas; while also strengthening families, and protecting the vulnerable against abuse

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created them; male and female created them.” Genesis 1:27
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” (Jesus, Matt 19:5-6)
BIBLICAL CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW ON TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE AND FAMILY
In Genesis 1:27, we see God created man in His own image, male and female. In Matthew (above), we see God’s original design was for one man (a male) and one woman (a female) to join together, in marriage, for life (see also Jesus’ statements in Mark 10:5-9).
The Bible has proven, time and again, that God’s way is simply better (as he is the creator and sustainer of life), and traditional marriage is His design, involving only one man and one woman, for life (id.). This is why such new ideologies such as gender fluidity and ‘transgenderism,’ and the normalization and celebration of homosexual activity and so-called “same-sex marriage” (now often compelled by ‘law’) are so harmful to humans, and society. Child sexual mutilation, misnamed as “transgender surgery,” is actually sin and child abuse, and should be criminalized.
Scripture is full of passages condemning sexual immorality in Israel and outside of it, in the Old Testament and New Testament, even saying those engaging in these practices will not inherit the kingdom of God (will be cast out). See 1 Cor 6:9-10; Gal 5:19-21; Rev 21:8.
God intends children to be raised in loving homes with a mother and father. His original design is best. Statistics bear this out, showing homes with missing parents, and especially fatherless homes, result in a much higher risk that children will fail out of school, and turn to lives of promiscuity, drugs, crime, and poverty. God hates divorce (Mal 2:16), and can see it in only very limited circumstances; i.e., sexual immorality and adultery (Matt 19:9), abandonment (1 Cor 7:15), and likely serious abuse as an acute form of abandonment (id.), or as violative of greater commands, which should not be endured (for sake of peace, id.). But today’s “no-fault divorce” approach in the West and globally is a direct attack on God’s design. Greater efforts should be made at restoring couples and marriage instead of seeking easy divorces. In broken or single-parent homes, God’s redemptive love and grace can work to help restore broken relationships. He’s a “father to the fatherless, a defender [husband] of widows.” (Ps 68:5).
Domestic violence and sexual abuse in families is another area where violators need to be held accountable and brought to justice. Incest among immediate or close relatives is also a crime in all of Scripture to be punished, as necessary for a healthy society (see Lev 18:7-18; 20:11-21). And healthy families, as God designed, serve as the building blocks of great nations.
Insidious practices of “child brides” and “child marriages” in Asia and other parts of the world are really coverups (attempts to legitimize) serial rape and sex-trafficking of children. Advocates must also work to stop this.

Advocacy Groups
Christian Advocacy Groups here concentrate on defending the Christian ideals of marriage against secularist assaults including the violent ideological onslaughts of LGBT activists, seeking to redefine marriage as a genderless institution, imposing their new definitions on all. In addition, some of the organizations here address other legal threats to marriage, such as no-fault divorce, and the damaging impact of easy divorce on children, families, and indeed on all in society. Strong families are of course the backbone of a strong and stable society. Because of the Christian, faith-based starting viewpoints of these organizations, many of them are subject to religious persecution from secular idealogues. Consequently, some of their work also involves defending religious liberty and social perspectives.
